Hello My Name Is...

Jennifer Steinmetz

I teach 6th and 7th grade Social Studies here at Yeager Middle School. I have a Bachelor degree in History and Government, as well as, two Master Degrees. One is in European History the other is in Educational Leadership. In addition, to being certified to teach Social Science classes I am also certified in Reading. I spent 14 years teaching in Florida. I taught middle school for nine years and high school for five years. My last two years in Florida I taught AP Psychology and AP Human Geography. 

I am married and have four adult children, two girls and identical twin boys. My oldest daughter lives in Georgia and her younger sister lives in California. My twins both live in Florida. My husband and I love to travel and spend a lot of time visiting historical sites. We love the beautiful landscape of Georgia and are enjoying making it our new home.
