Angela Whitley

Education

—I currently hold a Bachelors Degree in Middle Grades Education, a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Assessment, a Masters Degree in Middle School Science, and a Specialist Degree in Teacher Leadership.

Experience

—This is my fifth year at YMS. I previously taught 17 years at Stewart Middle and one year at East Paulding High. This is my 22nd year of teaching gifted. I have taught social studies for 22 years and science for five years. I was teacher of the year for Yeager for the 2017-2018 school year, and I loved every minute of it!

Bio

-I am a fan of Captain America, Supernatural, Star Wars, Jared Leto, and the Originals. I am also a huge movie and music fan.

-I enjoy swimming with my family and friends, eating out, and petting my precious cats, Harley and Davidson. 

-Finally, I am an historian who loves the time periods of: Ancient Greece and Rome, the Renaissance and Reformation, Napoleon, WWI, WWII, and the Vietnam War.
