Dedra Wiggins

Hi! I’m Dedra Wiggins, your Art Teacher here at Yeager since 2015. I graduated from LSHS in 2006 and went on to earn my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education from Georgia State University in 2011. After earning my degree, I got married and moved to San Francisco for nearly 5 years. While in SF, I taught at a small school for children with movement disorders such as Cerebral Palsy. It was life changing, and it was such a blessing to begin my career there. I cried like a baby when I left, but I really was excited to put my Art Ed degree to use after we moved back here. My husband and I have two sweet children (6 & 3) who keep us constantly busy. When I’m not here with my middle school kiddos, I can be found at home dancing to toddler tunes and superhero music, building puzzles, or playing outside with my babes.
