We had so much fun “April Fooling” our students! Did you know the county has mandated that we do the Chicken Dance in the hallways? 🐔💃 And don’t forget about those very important… flood drills! 🌊😂
At least Dr. Knowles' class wrapped up the day on a sweet note with some delicious “Brown-Es”! 🍫😉
We love making memories and sharing a few laughs together! 💙

This morning, we kicked things off with a parade to cheer on our Olympians as they headed out to compete. The Special Olympics is all about inclusion, courage, and celebrating the abilities of every athlete—and we know our students represented our school with heart and determination.
We hope they had a fantastic time competing, making memories, and showing just how incredible they are. Way to go, Olympians! 🏅👏

Today we’re celebrating a student who showed that kindness doesn’t have to be big to make a big impact. When another student in the hallway dropped their things, Kaiden stopped right away to help pick them up—even though he didn’t even know the student.
That simple act shows what being a great Wolf Cub is all about: helping others and showing kindness whenever we can. 🐺✨
Way to go for making our school a kinder place! Kaiden was nominated by Mrs. Johnson!👏

Beatrice and Savannah earned a spot in the Gold Category, placing them in the top 6 projects among all elementary schools in the entire county—what an incredible accomplishment! 🏆 They did a fantastic job presenting their project to the judges, and we are so proud of their hard work and dedication.
📦 Reminder: If your student's science fair project is still on the balcony, it will be sent home today.

Students explored where pollution comes from, how it impacts our environment, and what we can do to help. During this hands-on lesson, they “polluted” a model pond using materials like paper scraps, plastic, styrofoam, coffee grounds (to represent runoff), and cocoa powder (to represent waste like sewage).
Before jumping in, students made predictions about which tools would work best to clean the water and whether it could be fully restored. As they worked to clean the pond, they quickly discovered just how challenging it is to remove pollution—especially certain types that require specialized tools.
This powerful activity helped students see firsthand why it’s so important to prevent pollution in the first place. Great thinking and teamwork, Mrs. Ochoa's class! 👏🌱
